Snap!VRS Congratulates NAD on 130 Years of Advocacy

Please join Snap!VRS in congratulating the National Association of the Deaf as they host their 50th biennial conference in Philadelphia this week. For 130 years, the NAD has been an undaunted leader and ally in advocacy efforts on behalf of the deaf community.

"As I participate in the conference and meet other attendees who are just as committed as members of the NAD and Snap!VRS employees are to raising the bar," says Sean Gerlis, Director, National Operations Development and Support, "I am reminded of just how remarkable the NAD's legacy is in terms of efforts to achieve equal communication access across the board."
Snap!VRS recognizes the common core value our customers share with the NAD: that every member of the deaf community has a right and responsibility to be a full and equal participant in American society. The NAD"s advocacy working in tandem with VRS providers like Snap!VRS helps ensure that every deaf American has the telecommunications access to which they are entitled.

Because of this access and progress toward functional equivalency we have achieved in past years in partnership with the NAD and its individual and organizational members, it is our pleasure to recognize the NAD as it achieves this milestone.
