Leader in Deaf Community to Head Outreach Efforts for Snap!VRS

Sean Gerlis named Director of Field Services and Outreach, Northeast Region

Pearl River, NY - Sean Gerlis, the President of the New Jersey Association of the Deaf and board member of the National Association of the Deaf, is now the Director of Field Services and Outreach for Snap!VRS, a video relay service creating innovative communication solutions for the deaf and hard of hearing.

"Sean is a strong advocate for the deaf and is a respected leader within the deaf community," said Tom Kielty, President and CEO of Snap!VRS. "His presence in this company fills a critical mission as we continue to enhance and expand our customer services. We are excited to have him join our team."

Gerlis will be responsible for strengthening Snap!VRS grassroots connections with the deaf community and supporting the company's existing customers with their installation, service, and training needs.

Sean graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Information Technology and has extensive experience in telecommunications and management. He has previously worked as a software engineer at Kyocera Mita America, a product manager at GoAmerica and field installer at Sorenson Communications.
